Frequently Asked Questions

Do you charge for an initial consultation?

No. Your first case review is completely free. We also work on a contingency fee basis, meaning you pay nothing unless we win.

Do I need to come to your office?

Not necessarily. We can meet by phone or video, and we will come to you when needed. Our Southfield office serves walk-ins, but distance has never stopped us from taking a case.

Do you only handle cases in Michigan and Illinois?

Our primary markets are Michigan and Illinois, but Attorney Reed has litigated cases in courtrooms across the country. If you have a strong case, call us and we will discuss your options.

What types of cases do you handle across all service areas?

Personal injury, medical malpractice, wrongful death, auto and truck accidents, birth trauma, criminal defense, police misconduct, slip and fall, employment law, and civil rights.

How quickly should I contact you after an accident or injury?

As soon as possible. Evidence disappears, witnesses forget details, and Michigan and Illinois both have strict deadlines called statutes of limitations that can permanently bar your right to sue if missed. Do not wait.

What if I'm not sure I have a case?

Call us anyway. A free consultation costs you nothing and we will give you an honest assessment. We would rather tell you where you stand than have you miss out on compensation you deserve.

Not sure if we serve your area?

Call us at (248) 855-6330. If your case is worth fighting, we will be there.
